Undisputed lightweight champion Katie Taylor will expose her 4 belts against Amanda Serrano, who is the unified champion of the featherweight category. The fight will take place on April 30 in an event organized by DAZN and Matchroom Boxing at Madison Square Garden, New York, USA. We will be witnessing one of the best women’s boxing fights in history, see here why.
ABOUT amanda serrano
Amanda Serrano is a 33-year-old Puerto Rican boxer with an unbeatable 42-1-1 professional boxing record, winning 30 fights by knockout. Serrano is the unified champion of the WBC, WBO and IBF featherweight belts since March 2021.
Serrano has been an incredible champion in 7 weight classes: super fly, bantamweight, super bantamweight, featherweight, super featherweight, lightweight and super lightweight. Therefore, in her fight record, she has fights against very high level boxers such as Daniela Romina Bermudez, Yazmin Rivas, Yamileth Mercado, Frida Wallberg, among others, losing only to the latter.
The Puerto Rican is a fighter in every sense of the word, since in addition to boxing, she has been a champion in Jiu Jitsu and mixed martial arts, something highly respectable.
