Absolutely the whole fight Beterbiev put pressure on Browne, and although in the first 2 rounds the American knew how to box him, from the third it was all the Russian’s domain. The champion was always going forward and throwing a good volume of blows, probably with a greater desire to finish the fight because in the third round he suffered a deep cut on his forehead as a result of an accidental head clash.

The champion progressively demolished his challenger, who, as a result of his fatigue and Beterbiev’s boxing, lost agility in his legs, threw very few blows and his defense was very static. Thus, in the seventh round the Russian sends Browne to the canvas for the first time with a beautiful combination where he hits forcefully with a hook to the body, and although Browne stands up, it was a matter of minutes before a devastating combination of Artur Beterbiev will send the American to the ground, giving him a defeat by KO.

Marcus Browne evidently showed that he is not a rival of enough weight to defeat the champion, because his boxing was simply very deficient, compared to who is the greatest exponent of the light heavyweight division who in addition to showing his great punch again, He showed very good boxing and a lot of heart as he carried on with a deep wound on his forehead which never stopped bleeding.
